Denton Turret Medical Centre: 4-8 Session Salaried GP

Denton Turret Medical Centre are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic salaried GP to work 4 - 8 sessions.  We are open to either full time or part time applicants.

We are a SystmOne practice and have currently have a list size of 8900. We are a training practice with 2 of the GP Partners being trainers of registrars.  We have a weekly clinical team meeting.

The successful candidate will be available to undertake a variety of duties including telephone, face to face and e-consultations, home visits, medicines management, and associated paperwork.  All documents are subject to a workflow process ensuring that GPs only deal with documents that have an action for them to complete.  We use a Pharmacy Hub who deal with many of our medication changes from hospital discharges as well as many medications query tasks.


We are high QOF achievers and rated good by CQC.


The practice team comprises:

·       3 GP Partners

·       1 Salaried GP

·       2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners

·       1 Emergency Care Practitioner

·       Experienced nursing and non-clinical team


We are an active member of Newcastle Outer West PCN which allows access to First contact practitioners for both mental health and physiotherapists, health and wellbeing team, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who now carry out many medicines' changes from hospital discharge letters.
