We are a long-established practice serving a diverse patient population of approximately 6,000 in Longbenton, North Tyneside, and we are seeking a skilled and motivated General Practitioner to join our supportive team, either as a Salaried GP or Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a friendly, dynamic practice with a strong focus on teamwork, innovation, and quality patient care.

Your Role
Minimum of 5 sessions per week
Flexibility in working hours
Engage in comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention
Collaborate with an experienced team of healthcare professionals
Participate in practice development, including audits and policy improvements

Low home visiting requirement
Well established medical student teaching and GP training practice with opportunities for involvement

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care for a wide range of health conditions
Conduct routine health check-ups, screenings, and preventive care
Collaborate with the practice team and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
Contribute to practice policies, participate in audits, and attend clinical meetings
Develop and promote continuous professional improvement
Required Qualifications and Skills
GMC registration with a valid license to practice
Vocational Training in General Practice (VTS) or equivalent qualification
Full driving licence
Strong clinical skills and ability to manage various health conditions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Commitment to high standards of patient care and service improvement
